NEP 2025 Brings New Changes in India’s Higher Education System

The government of India has come up with new changes within the National Education Policy (NEP) 2025, and the changes aim to streamline the higher education system to be more flexible and skills-oriented.

The level of freedom will now be extended to students who are free to make a selection of a variety of subjects in the various streams, which in turn motivates them to learn practically rather than through memorization.

The universities will also be adopting the credit-based system that will enable students to transfer credits to other institutions in case they change institutions.

There is an increase in the importance attached to digital learning, internships, and foreign collaborations in order to meet the standards of global education.
